Hi, this is Sophia from STEAMcraft! My older sister and I are teenagers who love STEM (science, technology, engineering, and math) as well as arts and crafts. We put it all together to come up with our name, STEAMcraft. We were even featured on our local news channel, check it out!
A little bit about us… We started this little business doing craft shows in 2021. Instead of working a typical high school job I get to make my own hours and still be able to focus on extracurriculars and volunteering. The bonus is that I get to spread our love of STEM while earning some extra spending money.
My sister and I are both on our high school robotics team, our favorite extracurricular activity. We both play on multiple sports teams and are active in many other clubs. We both also do a lot of volunteering in STEM, as robotics mentors for elementary and middle schools.
